I could not believe it... MSN Messenger does NOT receive offline messages!! (at least the version prior to the latest.)
Meebo.com has been telling me for months since I started using it, that "so-and-so appears to be offline. Your message MAY not be received," rather than WILL not be received.
Time to use Google Talk, people! And please support Meebo.com.
